Description
Prometrium® is an oral micronized progesterone and is available in capsules. It may be dosed several times per day when administered orally depending on your particular situation. Prometrium® contains peanut oil, and is not prescribed in women with peanut allergies. Some physicians direct patients to use Prometrium® vaginally like a suppository, and inserted at bedtime on the appropriate days. This should only be done under the direction of your physician.
